Fall 2020 Fashion Trends: Reinventing My Style

I have recently been trying to reinvent my style; getting rid of clothes I haven’t worn in a year or so, purchasing items that can be worn through the seasons with a few readjustments.

Where I’ve been shopping for fall 2020 trends

Zara has become my clothing house right now. They’re reshaping my style, one piece of clothing at a time. Obviously I am not a fashion guru or a stylist per se, but I do enjoy putting pieces together and making it work for me.

I may not be able to afford “luxury” items just yet but I do know I’ve got some style, with the help of fashion boards on Instagram, Pinterest, etc.

H&M is also a great place to start. Its affordable and has definitely changed a lot since I was in high school. Their style and pieces have been elevated.

What I’ve purchased so far…

Curated a list of everything I have purchased and some items I’m still looking forward to purchasing as part of my fall 2020 fashion mood-board

• The shoulder padded tops: Super comfortable and works well when looking to wear outwear without feeling too bulky.

• Leather pants: the faux leather pant trends come around each year but I can finally participate in it this year and my first purchase in this department is this beautiful leather pants form… you guessed it, ZARA.

• Anything ECRU! Not sure how this color name came about but I am LOVING it. It’s a great way to wear white in the winter without feeling guilty. Obviously it’s more of an off white, creamy vibes.

•  Straight leg, wide pants: Purchased two styles – one ripped and one plain.

• Shoes: I’m trying to incorporate more sneakers in my wardrobe and finally got my first pair of airforce ones and I love them! They are so versatile. Big shout out to my friend(Kenz) for suggesting. ALSO, If you are not a sneaker head, I’d suggest reaching out to someone who is to guide you in order to avoid spending too much money.
